Member To Member Relationships

FCMI desires to be an agent in bringing ministers, ministries and churches together in the area of fellowship.  It is our prayer that as we walk together, relationships will develop among the members.  These relationships may happen spontaneously as we associate with one another.  However, in view of their essential nature to the purposes of God, we expect members to take steps to ensure their development.  Those steps might include visiting one another's churches, correspondence, cooperation in ministry efforts, regional meetings and personal visits.

Commitment To Accountability and Covenant

How people gain membership in the Fellowship of Christian Ministries International?

If you possess a desire to become part of FCMI, ask yourself these questions:

1.  Do I feel that I could support and exemplify the doctrinal emphasis of FCMI?

2.  Do I feel a need to relate to like-minded ministers and ministries who are seeking to build a glorious church in these days?

3.  Do I want to relate in fellowship with and with mutual accountability to other leaders with strong convictions?

4.  Do I want to join efforts with complimentary ministries to see God accomplish His purpose to extend His Kingdom into all the world?

If the answer to these questions is yes, you should prayerfully and seriously consider becoming a member with us.

To Become a member of FCMI you must:

1.  Become acquainted with a minister who is currently a member of FCMI and ask them to become your sponsor.

2.  Complete an application for membership form (which will be obtained through your sponsor).

3.  Have your sponsor complete the sponsor's reference form.

4.  Fully complete the FCMI Application for Membership Form and questionnaire, and return it to the FCMI office with the appropriate application fee.

5.  Sign and return the Covenant Commitment Form.

6.  Attend the annual and/or regional FCMI conference as a pending applicant.

7.  Make yourself available for a personal interview by members of the Membership and Credential Review Committee.

Membership Applications are approved by the FCMI Leadership Team.  Notification of acceptance, rejection or further questions will be conveyed through your sponsor.

Relationship Clarification:

It is neither the design nor the intent of FCMI to usurp the autonomy of the local church.  As elders and ministries in the Body of Christ, however, we stand ready to assist should problems arise.

We are a fellowship of ministers, ministries and churches dedicated to nurturing relationships and strengthening the bonds of love between members of the Body of Christ worldwide.
